Dr. Sarma urged everyone not to roam around till they receive their test reports. He also expressed gratitude to the citizens of Guwahati for observing the lockdown which has been re-imposed to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister Sarma stated that following the suggestions of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR), a new testing model named Q COVID-19 AG will be launched in Guwahati in the next 2-3 days. The new model will be able to give the results within one hour.
